My granddaughter lives a long way from me and this precious Little Red Riding Hood piece gave me the perfect opportunity to tell her that she is welcome at Grandma's house any time! I just had to sneak a peek at this beautiful little gem before I wrapped it up for my grandson and his wife, who will no doubt put it in the room of their new baby, Nova. The inscription was exactly as I had hoped "Nova, Dear" up in the corner of this depiction of Little Red Riding Hood, peacefully reading a book beside her friend, the big black wolf. As she grows and matures, I know little Nova will find inspiration in this piece. And her parents can remind her that it was given to her by her great grandmother, namely me! Many thanks to the Weil family for these pieces. I believe I have gotten three or four by now, and plan to return as long as I can. Happy holidays, All.
