This was a gift for my daughter’s 50th birthday. It had her little red coat, that she had as a child. Her favorite color , when she was a teen. Most importantly, the tree from our front yard, when she was growing up. The tree came from my parent’s property and we rode with it on the roof of our car, for about 40 miles. She always called it Grandpop’s tree. So this painting was very special for both of us! Her grandfather passed away when she was 3 1/2 yrs old. So I think that it’s magical, that she could look up into those branches and talk to Grandpop.
