STORY 

Translucent paints and fluid brushstrokes create a sense of movement and flow in City of Peace, a fantastical depiction of a Jerusalem overflowing with a sense of abundance symbolized by flowers and fruit. We view the scene through a window, upon the sill of which an unobtrusive pair of Sabbath candlesticks and Kiddush cup signify elements which draw holiness into day-to-day life. This painting is replete with symbols of Jerusalem's rich history and the promise of future peace.
