Jean-Pierre Weill’s first book, The Well of Being, was first published almost 7 years ago, but the messages  of the illustrated narrative accompany us in our studio on a day-to-day basis. Here are a few:

  • Each of us is responsible for her own experience.
  • To be “I” is a gift.
  • Allow yourself to feel your emotions.
  • Speak from your heart.

For us, these are tools that allow us to thrive in our family relationships while also maintaining strong cooperation and communication in the workplace. When the going gets bumpy (i.e. anger or resentment builds up), we enlist help from someone else (often another sibling) to help us regain clarity in our relationship.
