Our studio was founded in 1992, when Jean-Pierre began searching for a way to create art while supporting his growing family.
It was then that he discovered our signature technique: painting across multiple layers of glass.
Each piece is composed of separate elements, carefully arranged on different panes. Light passes through, shadows form naturally, and the image comes alive with depth and a sense of movement. What began as an experiment grew quickly; people resonated with the artwork, and the studio expanded organically from there.
In 2010, a new dimension was added to Jean-Pierre’s original dream: his daughters joined his studio.
What had been a solitary vision opened into something shared. Davida and Safira brought with them new ideas, a fresh palette, and a different sensitivity to the stories within the paintings. The work began to expand from within, growing not by changing its essence, but by deepening, until the studio itself became an expression of evolving relationships.
As a family studio, our relationships with each other shape the feeling and energy that go into our work. And over time, the people who bring these pieces into their homes become part of that circle.
Your feedback is part of our process. In that sense, you are our extended studio family. Our commitment to you reflects our commitment to each other: to be responsive, to stay playful, and to always give our best.
Alongside his paintings on glass, Jean-Pierre has also written about the inner life. In his books, The Well of Being and Evolve!, he explores awareness, relationships, and the way we experience the world. He calls them "children's book for adults" as the sparse text relies heavily on beautiful full spread illustrations.
These ideas live quietly inside the paintings as well. The figures, the spaces, the small gestures, they are often about connection, perspective, and the possibility of seeing things differently.
